The first day I arrived in South Korea I lost my wallet. A co-worker picked me up at the airport, and we were walking to a restaurant when I felt someone tap me on the back. “Hello, you…drop?” the man behind me asked in broken English as he handed me my wallet. ‘Honesty and kindness from a stranger’; this was my first impression of South Korea.

Hello, everyone. My name is Fernanda and I'm a 27 years old Brazilian lawyer who came here to learn Korean through the language program. I got here last semester, in September, and started from Beginner class, progressing to the Intermediate class. 여러분 안녕하십니까. 내 이름은 베르난다이고 언어 프로그램을 통해 한국어를 배우러 온 27살 브라질 변호사입니다. 나는 여기에 지난 학기 9월에 왔고, 초급 수업을 시작으로 중급 수업으로 발전했다.
