My meaningful GGU life
My second semester in GGU is coming to an end and I have learned so much during these eight months! When I arrived, the big building in the middle of the mountains seemed scary and unfriendly, but GGU has surprised me in the best of ways: students (foreigners and Koreans alike), teachers and university’s staff make it feels like home, embracing everyone and making the path to learn Korean much easier and reachable; something I don’t think would happen anywhere else.

Life at GGU
It is very timeous that I was invited to write this article now. Maybe it is because I am coming to the end of my two year contract at GGU that I have recently been doing a lot of soul-searching and reflection regarding my present and future life. I love writing, and am grateful for the opportunity to share some of my thoughts with you.

The road to Guinsa: Love, Peace...
Although I have been to several temples in South Korea (and thus consider myself to be a "battle-seasoned temple-stayer"), Guinsa turned out to be a really "Hardcore" one - "Reveille" at 03.00 am, a very specific dishwashing method and food monotony are indeed not the things you would be looking for having come to South Korea as a tourist.

The best decision
Hi my name is Jonas and I’m from Ghana. I came to Korea about three years ago to pursue a course in Chemical and Energy Engineering at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology.
